2026 GTD - Rolex 24 Post Race Report

Danny Formal, Trent Hindman, Graham Doyle, Marcus Ericsson and the No. 45 DEX Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 of Wayne Taylor Racing (WTR) officially opened the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship with the series’ crown jewel event – the Rolex 24 at Daytona. 2026 GTP - ROLEX 24 Pre Race Report

Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing will take to the track for the 64th Running of the Rolex 24 at Daytona for the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season opener. Wayne Taylor Racing (WTR) holds four victories at the ‘crown jewel’ of the IMSA calendar, taking home the win in 2017, 2019, 2020, and 2021, while team co-owner, Wayne Taylor, holds two of his own victories as a driver in 1996 and 1998. 2026 GTD - ROLEX 24 Pre Race Report

The driver stable featuring the full season pairing of Trent Hindman and Danny Formal, endurance co-driver Graham Doyle, and Indianapolis 500 and Rolex 24 co-driver, Marcus Ericsson, got situated in the No. 45 DEX Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 during the Roar weekend. After sorting through their testing checklists, the No. 45 DEX Lamborghini team posted their fastest lap time of 01:47.835 and closed out with a total of 203 laps around Daytona International Speedway.  Read more >
