2019 LST at Watkins Glen Post Race Report

The Prestige Performance Wayne Taylor Racing team, drivers and 5-car stable of Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeos took to the 3.4-mile, 11-turn historic track of Watkins Glen (N.Y.) International with a vengeance. In both Rounds 3 & 4, the nine drivers put four of their five STs on podium, the final one just missing, finishing in 4th place.

Race 1 (Round 3) highlights include the No. 53 car, driven by Brad Baker and Bruno Junquiera took the win in the Pro|Am class. Ashton Harrison and Stephanie Cemo in the No. 43 car came in a close second after leading for most the LB Cup race. Pro Drivers Andrea Amici and Sandy King in the No. 1 car, after a long battle for first, ended up second, and Cameron Cassels in his No. 33 came in third. The No. 69 car, driven by William Hubbell and Paul Tracy ended fourth in the Pro|Am class in their first race together.

Race 2 (Round 4) highlights include the No.33 car of Cameron Cassels taking second in the AM Class and Ashton Harrison and Stephanie Cemo battling to a second place finish in their #43 LB Cup entry. Third place honors went to Brad Baker and Bruno Junquiera in the Pro|Am class and Sandy Mitchell and Andrea Amici in the #1 Pro Class entry. The No. 69 car, driven by William Hubbell and Paul Tracy ended fourth in the Pro|Am class in their second race together.

Rounds 5 & 6 will join the IMSA WeatherTech Race Weekend at Road America, August 1-4.
