Filipe Albuquerque, No. 10 Konica Minolta Acura ARX-06: “It’s a great day for Acura and WTRAndretti with a front row lockout. The No. 10 Konica Minolta Acura ARX-06 felt great. We made some decisions on what to do, and it panned out. It felt a lot like it did in 2022; the balance was the same even though it was a DPI. Within the first few laps I could tell it the balance was good, so I knew I couldn’t make a mistake. But to put a lap together with 14 corners is not easy, and when I did the lap, I felt really good because I could not have gone faster. Again, it’s great for Acura, and it’s good for the ego, especially after a hard season for us. So tomorrow we’ll try to go for the win and see how it goes.”

Jordan Taylor, No. 40 DEX Imaging Acura ARX-06: “It was an okay session for us, but it’s great to have a one-two for the team. We did a test here a couple weeks ago, so I think we came in with a pretty strong car, but I think we all know the race will be a different story. This year it seems like it’s been so hard to pass, so strategy has been pretty crucial. I think we can be pretty happy with qualifying up front in the No. 40 DEX Imaging Acura ARX-06, and now we just need to make sure we have a strong race car over the long run as well. But we’re definitely off to a good start.”
