After displaying impressive speed in each practice session, the No. 10 Konica Minolta Acura ARX-06 with Wayne Taylor Racing with Andretti Autosport (WTRAndretti) team will start the 71st Running of the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring from the third position.

As Ricky Taylor piloted the blue and black machine around Sebring International Raceway, the Florida-native pushed every bit to limit in hopes of capturing the prized pole position before an untimely red flag ended the qualifying session.

“Sebring weekend is always hectic and the car is constantly changing with the track conditions,” said 2017 Twelve Hours of Sebring winner Ricky Taylor. “Our Konica Minolta Acura ARX-06 guys have mainly been focusing on the race car and what we had to do to make a good qualifying car. The guys did a very good job. I think the car was excellent in qualifying. We were going for two sets (tires), Cadillac made it happen on one set and I think we had a car for the pole. We can take that speed into the race. I think we have the best driver lineup with my two teammates, so I’m very confident in what we have for tomorrow. Should be a good, long 12 hours.”
