The No. 93 Harrison Contracting Company Acura NSX GT3 Evo22 heads to the Racing Capital of the World for the Tire Rack.com Battle On The Bricks, the final event in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Series sprint race calendar.

 

Ashton Harrison and Kyle Marcelli will pilot the Racers Edge Motorsports Wayne Taylor Racing with Andretti Autosport (WTRAndretti) RELY on Red machine on the 2.439 mile, 14-turn road course at Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS), marking IMSA’s return to the famed bricks after a nearly 10-year absence. The driving duo is two-thirds of the team’s IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup lineup and have experience partnering together in the Acura NSX GT3 Evo22. Harrison has also kissed the bricks herself, with a victory at the historic Speedway in 2021 as a freshly minted graduated of the HPD Academy, as well as clinching her 2022 GT3 season title in the shadows of the Pagoda.

 

The No. 93 Harrison Contracting Acura NSX GT3 Evo22, once again showcasing the Chiaki’s Journey livery, will join a competitive 17-car GTD class field for the two-hour, 40-minute race.

 

The 2023 Tire Rack.com Battle on The Bricks weekend begins Friday, September 15, with official practice at 2:40 p.m. EST. Green flag drops Sunday, September 17, at 1:10 p.m. EST. The race will be broadcast live on NBC Network starting at 1:00 p.m. EST, with streaming available on Peacock and IMSA.com. Peacock and IMSA.com will also cover qualifying live at 12:55 p.m. EST on Saturday, September 16.

I have complete faith in the crew working on the car that they’ll give us the best Acura that we could ask for. Then it’s on Ashton and me to deliver our best performance. Indy is a great track, and a fun race track, with a combination of high speed and low speed which I think will make for an exciting race. 17 cars in the GTD class is a big field, a competitive one, and it’s going to take everything we’ve got and the best performance from everyone to get a good result.
