Driver Quotes:

Stevan McAleer, No. 1 Prestige Performance Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo (PRO)

“Another podium for Stuart and myself. I’m disappointed with our pace, but we’ll keep working on it. We still have a few races left and we’ll continue to work with the engineers. I’m always thankful for the opportunity with Wayne Taylor Racing.”

Stuart Middleton, No. 1 Prestige Performance Lamborghini Super Trofeo (PRO)

“It was a tough weekend for the No 1 car. We tried our hardest and did our best. We want to be at the front and winning races, so it was disappointing for everyone. We’re not going to give up and we’ll continue to fight to try and come back strong for Laguna Seca.

Shelby Blackstock, No. 53 WTR Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo (PRO)

“Unfortunately, we had a rough race two. We got caught up in lapped traffic and I had to do an avoidance maneuver to save the car. Overall thank you so much to Wayne Taylor Racing for making this weekend happen.”

Ashton Harrison, No. 25 Harrison Contracting Lamborghini Super Trofeo (PRO|AM)

“This weekend was really fun. In race two we had a great victory and we were so close to having a first-place podium. The last five minutes of the race were crazy as we were sitting in third and then a mechanical happened with the leader and we ended up finishing in second. We just needed one more lap because we were right on the tail of the Change Racing Lamborghini. I’m thankful for the weekend, it was great, and I was excited to have the Harrison Contracting employees come out yesterday and support our car in race one. These are great points for our championship, it really tightens things up, so I’m looking forward to Laguna Seca.”

Andrea Amici, No. 25 Harrison Contracting Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo (PRO|AM)

“It was a stunning performance by the Wayne Taylor Racing team this weekend. Ashton drove really well this weekend. During race two we pitted early and were running in third position and I was catching the first and second place cars in front of me. I was so close the Change Racing Lamborghini at the end, so maybe with one more lap we could have passed them."

Sydney McKee, No 87 FaDa Racing Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo (LB Cup)

“It was a challenging weekend. Race 1 we found some good pace. Today, in Race 2, we had a really good start and made some passes but had contact with another car that spun me in turn six. We checked out the car, car was okay, but wasn’t able to get back after that since we ended up a lap down. We had good pace at the end of the race, and I was back racing with my class, but it was a lap down. Overall lots of learning throughout the weekend and the car is in one piece which is good. Really looking forward to Laguna Seca next month.”
