Driver Quotes:

Stevan McAleer, No. 1 Prestige Performance Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo (PRO)

A little disappointing weekend as we had two fourth place finishes. Coming in here knowing we were in the No. 1 car I expected to fight up front. Stuart has a lot of pace, so it’s nice to run with him and he’s a good guy to be on the team with. We’re just going to regroup, make some changes to the car, and get back to winning races with Prestige Performance with Wayne Taylor Racing.”

Stuart Middleton, No. 1 Prestige Performance Lamborghini Super Trofeo (PRO)

“Stevan and I maximized what the car was capable of. We drove the thing to an inch of its life. I’m really disappointed with the results as I was expecting to be challenging for the lead. We need to have a major rethink and go back to the drawing board as we go into the next meeting. Unhappy with the result, but we’ll stay hopeful that we can make an impact at VIR in a couple weeks.

Ashton Harrison, No. 25 Harrison Contracting Lamborghini Super Trofeo (AM)

“Race two is over and Andrea and I feel like we have a lot to work on for VIR in a couple weeks. I think we are on pace and the team is obviously great because they gave us a great car. It was unfortunate that we had a little mishap in the pits, but it doesn’t stop that we are capable of running up in the front with those guys. This is just the start of the championship and we’re looking forward to how this plays out the rest of the year. I do think we have a shot.”

Andrea Amici, No. 25 Harrison Contracting Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo (PRO)

“It was a good weekend. Today was okay. We had a problem during the pitstop, so we lost ten seconds. But we learned a lot from this weekend, and I think we can put this experience towards a good weekend at VIR in a couple weeks.”

Sydney McKee, No 87 FaDa Racing Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo (LB Cup)

“Fourth in class today. Not as great of a result as our third-place finish yesterday, but really great fight today with some fun racing. We needed one more lap to catch the car in front. There was some really close racing and I made a pass in turn one which was great at the beginning of the race, we lost a couple seconds in the pit so I lost that position, but overall spirits are high and really looking forward to battling it out again at VIR in a couple weeks.”
