ASSISTANT ENGINEER (Deadline to apply: October 18, 2019)
WTR is seeking an engineer to join the IMSA Prototype program group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Electronics: managing all Cosworth race electronics, telemetry, sensors and wiring
  • Fuel Strategy: performing pre-event flow testing and in-race fuel calculations
  • Engineering Assist: working within the engineering group on car performance/reliability improvements
  • Team Interaction: communicating directly with the drivers, crew, series and technical partners
  • Documentation: compiling and presenting information from and race events

Required Knowledge

  • Motorsports Software: comprehension of Pi Toolbox/Toolset
  • Electronics:  CAN communication, sensors, wiring, connectors, radios
  • Computing Software:  proficiency in Excel, MATLAB or equivalent

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience: minimum 3 years relevant professional motorsports
  • Education: BS in Engineering

General Requirements

  • Location: if necessary must be willing to relocate to Indianapolis, IN area
  • Travel: required between 10-12 race events per season and any potential testing
